STRETCH - "Improve your body's ability to move better and aid recovery"
Stretch looks to address that massive hole in everyone's training that they seem to gloss over - mobility.
In the stretch classes we look to do both passive and dynamic stretching to enhance your general flexibility as well as your ability to get into certain positions. Sometimes what we find when doing other forms of training (e.g. strength training) is that a person may not be limited by their strength, it may be their ability to actually get into positions to express their strength completely. Stretch is also just an awesome class to come to as a form of recovery, if you've had a big week and feel a little tight and beat up, stretch is that perfect way to loosen the body up a little and decompress leading into the weekend. Stretch is run on Saturday mornings at 8:30am before our FIT class! |
